Kidney Assist™ perfusion system
Kidney Assist is a pump system providing temperature controlled oxygenated isolated perfusion of donor kidneys to bridge the time span between donor nephrectomy and kidney transplantation in the recipient. The system is intended to be used for isolated temperature-controlled ex-vivo pulsatile oxygenated machine perfusion of donor kidneys, for a period up to 6 hours.

Features of the machine
- Flexible temperature-controlled perfusion from 12-37°C.
- Supports up to 24 hours hypothermic perfusion and 6 hours normothermic perfusion.
- Pressure-controlled centrifugal pump with pulsatile flow to mimic the conditions in the body and support microcirculation.
- A hollow fiber membrane oxygenator applying high oxygen tension and concentration throughout perfusion for efficient oxygen transport.
